All About Mr. Elliott

 

Ryan Elliott, Director of Instrumental Music (2006) B.M.E., Pittsburg State University; M.M.E., Western Michigan University; M.M. in Wind Conducting, Pittsburg State University. Mr. Elliott is the head of instrumental music at Pittsburg High School and 2006 will be his inaugural year at this position. His teaching responsibilities include band, jazz band, and orchestra. Mr. Elliott holds degrees in music education from Pittsburg State University and Western Michigan University. Mr. Elliott also has four years of public school teaching experience prior to his appointment at PHS. He has directed music in Michigan, Kansas, and Missouri. Mr. Elliott is an active performer in the 4-State area, specializing on tuba, trombone, bass guitar and french horn. He holds memberships in KNEA and KMEA. Ryan and his wife, Charidy, welcomed their first child Paul Michael into the world on July 19.
