and traditional terms referring to dynamics, tempo, and articulation
and then interpreting them correctly in performance.

introduced to and/or had experiences in reading whole, half, quarter,
eighth, sixteenth, and dotted notes and corresponding rests in basic
meters.
Indicator 3
The student has been
introduced to and/or had experiences in using standard rhythmic notation
to record musical ideas.
