PHS Dragon Wrestling started in 1980 coached by Jerry Arthurs from 1980-2000.

They have had 20 State Placers and three State Champions.

PHS is in the SEK League which has a strong wrestling tradition.

The SEK League consists of Chanute, Columbus, Coffeyville, Ft. Scott, Independence, Labette Co., Parsons, Pittsburg.
