All new installations of technology based equipment must be approved by both building administration and the district technology coordinator. An example of this might be an additional network cable run. Installations can often result in the expenditure of funds by the building, and must be approved by building administration. Additionally, an installation must be prioritized against any repairs or replacements that are required. This also requires input from the building technology staff. If the district technology staff does not hear otherwise, any new installation will only be carried out when all repair work is completed.
