The purchasing of technology related hardware over $200 must be approved by the district technology office coordinator. This is so that the technology coordinator can assist buildings in getting a better price and/or keeps updated on future installations and possible service requests. This is also important because in rare cases the technology coordinator may feel a certain device is technically unsound, and may disapprove the purchase. Any items meeting the above criteria that are purchased without consultation with the technology office will result in no service by the technology office concerning the equipment.
