Dragons For A Cure
The Pittsburg High School volleyball team will conduct its annual "Pink Out" Breast Cancer Awareness event on Thursday, Oct. 6 when the Dragons take on SEK League opponents Fort Scott and Columbus.
Proceeds from the event benefit Angels Among Us, a local organization that supports cancer patients.
Pre-orders for "Dragons For a Cure" T-shirts (either purple or pink) and bracelets can be made by e-mailing Shay Sievert at ssievert@usd250.org. The shirts are $10, while the bracelets are $2. Both the shirt and bracelet can be picked up at Pittsburg High School the night of the event. Please include a phone number on your order e-mail.
Last year's Pink Out event raised more than $1, 200.
