Pittsburg High School Announces New Assistant Principal

Pittsburg Community Schools USD 250 is excited to announce Samantha Warren as a new Assistant Principal at Pittsburg High School.

This is Mrs. Warren's 28th year in education. She began her career as a 7-8th grade ELA teacher before transitioning into a Librarian position. Since 2014, Mrs. Warren has served as the Librarian at Pittsburg High School and expanded her roles to include Instructional Coach for PHS in 2020. In addition to her work in the library, she is an active coach and mentor for many student organizations like Student Council, Prom, Speech & Debate, and more.

“We are incredibly excited for Mrs. Warren to step into the position of Assistant Principal,” Kris Crotts, PHS Principal said. “Her leadership, passion, and care for our school make her the perfect fit for this role, and I know she will continue to make a positive impact at PHS.”

Mrs. Warren is excited to begin a new chapter at PHS in the role of Assistant Principal and looks forward to continuing to serve teachers and students. She will assume her new duties as of July 1, 2026.
