Pittsburg Community Schools USD 250 is excited to welcome Jen Gomez as the next Activities Director for Pittsburg High School.

Gomez has a strong history in athletics as she recently completed her ninth year as head volleyball coach at Pittsburg State University and has held several other head coaching positions at the collegiate level.

Gomez, alongside her husband Chanc and their four children are already active members in the Pittsburg Community and USD 250.

“Coach Gomez is going to be an amazing asset to our Dragon family,” USD 250 Superintendent J.B. Elliott said. “Her experience and passion for athletics will definitely add to the culture at PHS and we are excited to have her join our team.”

Gomez will officially assume her duties on July 1, 2025 following current Activities Director Jeff Staley’s retirement.
