Meadowlark celebrated it's Annual Water Day on Tuesday, May 14.
Students participated in multiple water activities from Duck Duck Goose where students were selected as the Goose with water over their heads, to relay races where students use a sponge to transfer water from one bucket to another and race against other classes in their grade level to see who can fill up their bucket the fastest.
Some stations were designed just for fun with water guns and squirters for the students to play with. The highlight of the day is always the firetruck visit; students get to play in the water sprayed by a local Pittsburg Firetruck!
Meadowlark ended Water Day with their Pie in the Face fundraiser. Students put money in jars of staff, the staff member with the most money raised got a pie in the face. Funds raised will be used to make welcome bags for new students who come to Meadowlark.
