George Nettels students celebrated the 2nd Annual Super Kids Day on Friday, May 17th. 5th graders work different stations, from bag toss to tug of war. All grade levels celebrated Super Kids Day; Kindergarten and Fourth in the morning, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd in the afternoon. The 5th graders who facilitated the day got their own time by themselves to play and enjoy all the stations at the end of the event.
The PTO graciously donated a snow cone machine for the kids, and a couple of teachers and students work that station. This year, a parent donated a popcorn machine, which was an awesome added treat for the kids.
"We just focus on a day of being outside and having fun, and our students look forward to it every year!" - Amber Qualls, George Nettels Physical Education Teacher
