Since it was created in 1994, the Pritchett Trust, named after William and Athlyn Pritchett, has granted 9.3 million dollars to area schools, service organizations, and non-profits. This year, the Foundation awarded more than $475,000 in grant dollars with $109,013.57 going to Pittsburg Community Schools.

"We greatly appreciate the Pritchett trust and the support they provide for our district. The grants that they give to the various programs in our district help us reach and surpass the goals that we have for our students. Their generosity creates opportunities beyond what we have planned for." says Mr. Richard Proffitt, Superintendent of Schools.
