After a hiatus in 2020 and a postponed 2021 season due to the pandemic, Pittsburg Multigenerational Chorus is planning to perform its delayed fall concert on Sunday, Jan. 23, at the Bicknell Family Center for the Arts.
The chorus is composed of high school students and community members of many ages.
Audiences will have two options from which to choose: a matinee at 3 p.m. and an evening performance at 7 p.m.
The show choir-style concert, “You’re Gonna Love This,” features love songs from the ‘60s to the present day that were arranged for the choir by Director Susan Laushman.
The playlist includes such hits as “I’ll Be There” by the Jackson 5, “Love Me Do,” by the Beatles, “All of Me” by John Legend, “I Like It, I Love It,” by Tim McGraw, “Crazy Little Thing Called Love,” by Queen, and “I Will Always Love You” by Dolly Parton.
The group will be accompanied by The J3 Band and other local musicians.
Admission is free although donations will be accepted. Masks are required. Each concert will be identical and will last about an hour.
The concerts will also be livestreamed through Vimeo, using the links below:
