Dr. Amy Bartlow Named 2022 Pitsco Educator of the Year Finalist

Today the Pittsburg Chamber of Commerce and Pitsco Education presented Dr. Amy Bartlow as one of the three 2022 Pitsco Educator of the Year Finalists. Joining the Chamber for their surprise announcement were Dr. Bartlow's husband, Dr. Jon Bartlow, and son Cole, PCMS Principal Laura Earl, Assistant Principal Adam Hull, and Assistant Superintendent Dr. Brad Hanson.

Dr. Amy Bartlow is a 6th-grade math teacher at Pittsburg Community Middle School and has a genuine passion to assist students in achieving their greatest potential. Amy's passion of student learning and well-being are the driving forces behind her achievements as an educator.
The purpose of the "Educator of the Year" award is to recognize excellence in the teaching profession and to inform our community of the exceptional quality of instruction delivered in Crawford County. In recognition of outstanding educators in our area, Pitsco Education and the Pittsburg Area Chamber of Commerce proudly present the Educator of the Year award. Selection is based on the teacher's ability to inspire students of all backgrounds and abilities to reach their full potential.

The 2022 Pitsco Educator of the Year will be announced on May 19th at the Chamber Banquet. Congratulations to Dr. Amy Bartlow and all of the finalists selected.
